Rubina Dilaik Biography
Rubina Dilaik was born on 26 August 1987 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. His father’s name is Gopal Dilaik who is a writer and his mother’s name is Shakuntala Dilaik. He also has two sisters named Rohini Dilaik and Naina Dilaik.
Rubina completed her early education from Shimla Public School. After completing his schooling, he graduated from St. Beds College, Shimla.
Rubina Dilaik married television actor Abhinav Shukla in 2018.
Rubina Dilaik’s Career
Initially, she won two local beauty pageants and was crowned Miss Shimla in 2006. In 2008, she won the Miss North India pageant held in Chandigarh.
Rubina Dilaik started her acting career in the year 2008 with a TV serial “Chhoti Bahu”.
Although she wanted to become an IAS and was preparing, she was selected in the audition. In this TV serial, she appeared in the role of Radhika. Rubina’s role in Chhoti Bahu was highly appreciated.
In 2012, she played the role of Simran “Smiley” Gill in Sony TV’s Saas Bina Sasural. Then in 2013, she played the role of Divya Jakhotia opposite Karan Grover in Zee TV’s remarriage – Ek Nayi Asha.
From 2013 to 2014, he played life OK’s mythological show Devon Ke Dev… She played the role of Sita in Mahadev and Jenny in SAB TV and Jenny in Juju.
From 2016 to 2020, Rubina played the role of Saumya Singh, a transgender woman alongside Vivian Dsena in Colors TV’s Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, for which she was awarded for Best Personality at Colors’ Golden Petal Awards 2017 and Best Actress at ITA Awards 2017.
In October 2020, Rubina participated in the fourteenth season of Bigg Boss as a contestant along with her husband Abhinav Shukla. She stayed in the house for twenty weeks and emerged as the winner.
Bollywood
In the year 2022, she will start her Bollywood career with the film ‘Ardh’. The film also stars Hiten Tejwani and actor Rajpal Yadav. The half film is expected to release in 2022.
