Naseeruddin Shah started his career with a theatre show, which you must have read above, after that he worked as an actor for the first time in the film Nishant (1975), after which he did many hit films, in the year 2006 he made the film Yun Hota To Kya Hota as a director. In the year 1983, Shah’s important film, ‘Masoom’ was released, which was shot at St. Joseph’s College, Nainital, from where he did his studies.

Naseeruddin Shah has acted tremendously in films like Aakrosh, Mirch Masala, Adarsh, Trikal, Albert Pinto Ko Gusa Kyun Aata Hai, Bhavani Bhavai, Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho!, Junoon, Mandi, Ardh Satya and Katha, even today he works in the world of films. In the year 1977, Naseeruddin Shah along with Tom Alter and Benjamin Gilani formed a theatre group named ‘Motley Production’.

During the year 1980s, shah also acted in several films; Ghulami (1985), Karma (1986), Izzat (1987), Jalwa (1988) and Hero Hiralal (1989), etc.
