Kiara Advani was born on 31 July 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His father’s name is Jagdeep Advani, who is a businessman and his mother’s name is Genevieve Jaffrey, who is a teacher. He has a younger brother named Mishaal. Kiara Advani is the great-granddaughter of veteran Bollywood actor late Ashok Kumar and granddaughter of another veteran Bollywood actor late Saeed Jaffrey.
He did his schooling from Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai and after that he completed his graduation from Jai Hind College for Mass Communication, Mumbai. She was good at studies and had scored 12% marks in class 92.
Kiara Advani’s real name was Alia Advani but before her debut in Bollywood, she changed her name to Kiara. She had said in an interview that the suggestion to change her name was from Salman Khan, as Alia Bhatt was already an established actress.

Kiara Advani started her acting career in the year 2014 with a comedy-drama film “Fugly”. However, the film performed poorly at the box office. But he received positive reviews for his performance and was praised as a versatile actor.
In 2016, Kiara Advani did the sports film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story— an official biopic of popular cricketer MS Dhoni, who was the former captain of the Indian cricket team. In the film, Sushant Singh Rajput was selected for the role of Dhoni, he played his wife Sakshi Rawat, who was a hotel manager. The film was commercially successful.
In 2017, she played the lead role in Abbas Mustan’s film “Machine”. Kiara made her debut in Telugu films with a political drama film “Bharat Ane Nenu”.
Kiara Advani made her debut on the OTT platform with Netflix’s 2018 anthological film Lust Stories.
In September 2018, a music video titled “Urvashi” sung by Honey Singh was released, in which she starred opposite Shahid Kapoor.
