During His College Days, KD Jadhav Was Very Interested In Wrestling, He Wanted To Get A Part In The College’s Annual Sports Meet, But The Sports Coach Refused, After Which KD Jadhav Approached The Principal And Sought Permission From The Principal, After Which KD Jadhav Defeated A More Powerful And Experienced Wrestler Towards Wrestling To Prove Himself In Wrestling. 1999.
But Jadhav’s Real Career Started When He Participated In The 1948 London Olympics, For Information, At That Time The Players Had To Make Arrangements To Go To The Olympics Themselves Without The Help Of Any Government.

Journey To Win India’s First Olympic Medal
A Few Years Later, In 1952, KD Jadhav Also Participated In The Olympic Games. But This Journey Was Not So Easy, Because Many Things Were Put At Stake To Supply Money To KD Jadhav And His Colleague To Participate In This Olympics, Not Only This, The Principal Of His College Days Mortgaged His House And Gave Jadhav ₹ 7000 And Helped Him.
After That The State Government Also Gave Him Rs 4000. But It Was Not Enough Money That He Could Participate In The 1952 Olympics After Which Jadhav Mortgaged His House To Meet The Money And Stepped Into The Olympics By Borrowing From Many People.
Jadhav Had Now Reached The Olympics From Where He Got Recognition All Over The World. After Participating In The Helinsky Olympics In 1952, He Made His Best Start, Winning The First Five Matches Unilaterally But Losing To The Japanese Player In The Sixth Match.
After Which His Next Match Was Against The Wrestler Of Russia. The Next Match Was Between KD Yadav And The Russian Player Where KD Zada Lost But He Won The Bronze Medal By Finishing Third For The Country.
